About Inner Peace Therapy

Nicole Giron, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Therapist

“My passion is to help each one of my clients repair their broken pieces, recognize the beauty of their own life and come back home, within themselves.”

In 2010, I became a Mental Health Therapist so I could put this philosophy into practice for the benefit of my clients. Currently I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington and Colorado. Originally from Colorado, I have practiced in a variety of settings such as community mental health, private practice, integrated behavioral health in pediatric clinic, groups, family therapy, and telehealth. I have had the pleasure of working with most ages, from three to seventy-five. I am a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist, trained in EMDR I & II, DBT and CBT. Areas that I treat include: Abuse, ADHD, Anxiety, Body Image, Depression, Neglect, Parenting Support, PTSD, Self-Harm, Self-Esteem, Stress, Suicidal Ideation, Trauma.

There is a Japanese art called Kintsugi, which uses gold to mend broken pottery. Cracked teapots, chipped plates, and broken bowls are repaired with gold highlighting its imperfection, but in doing so, what was once broken becomes stronger, more unique, and more beautiful. Everyone has cracks, chips, and breaks, but I believe, as with Kintsugi, our flaws can also be healed to create a stronger, more unique and beautiful person.
